The Vision

In 2000, God began to stir into effect a new vision for Christian education in the Council Bluffs area. With that vision in sight, two schools...Victory Christian School (affiliated with Victory Fellowship) and Loess Hills Christian School (affiliated with Crossroads Christian Center) came together with the dream of a non-denominational, Bible-based school in the Council Bluffs, IA area.  In the 2001-2002 school year, that dream became reality with the beginning of Heartland Christian School.

The Reality  

After it's first year, Heartland Christian School leased space for a year and a half before God blessed us with our permanent home here on 400 Wright Road.  The school purchased the LakeView Elementary School building from Lewis Central in December of 2003.  Finally in February 2004, with much excitement, Heartland Christian School moved into their new facility.

God continues to bless HCS with a Godly staff, administrators, and wonderful families and children.
